Premia’s market share on the Estonian ice cream market continues to be 42%

According to the data of the research company AC Nielsen, the value market share of Premia Foods on the Estonian ice cream market since the beginning of this year until the end of 3rd quarter has remained stable at 42% and the company continues to be the market leader on the Estonian ice cream market.

According to AC Nielsen, the value market share of Premia has remained stable at 42% since the beginning of this year until the end of the 3rd quarter and the company has not lost any market share. According to AC Nielsen, the favourites of the Estonian ice cream lovers are the series of ice creams Eriti Rammus manufactured by Premia, which form 13% of the Estonian value ice cream market. The Eriti Rammus ice creams are followed with a 2.1% market share by Vana Toomas, the official ice cream of the Youth Dance and Song Festival brought to the market by Premia this spring.

“This year we have been focusing our work on product development, which has ensured our market share and leading position. I am pleased to say that our rich cream ice creams have received a warm welcome from the ice cream lovers and we would like to continue to surprise them with new favourites,” said Kuldar Leis, chairman of the board of AS Premia Foods. “Premia ice creams do not contain any preservatives or trans-fatty acids, the ice cream lover can count on us,” he added.

According to AC Nielsen the value market share of AS Balbiino at the end of the 3rd quarter was 21.7% and volume market share was 23.3% and the company remained at the second position on the Estonian ice cream market. According to the research company, neither the monetary nor volume market share of AS Balbiino has reached 24% during the period of 1–3rd quarter as stated earlier by the company.
